Our story, part one
It’s 1964, and Guiseppe Di Meglio is constructing his family home from the ground up. Already armed with six years in the building trade and driven by his firmly-held belief to build things the right way - without cutting corners - Guiseppe engineered a lasting, high-quality custom home.
Well-known for his integrity, work ethic, and high standards in home construction, Guiseppe trained his son, Joele, on job sites from a very young age. After becoming a master craftsman and acquiring ample experience, Joele started his own construction company based in Pitt Meadows.
our story, part two
It’s 2017, and our construction company is now named NOVERO Homes & Renovations. We’re growing faster than we ever could have imagined, largely through referrals from our loyal client base of repeat renovators, commercial businesses, and couples building their dream home.
As more clients ask for our opinions on finishing materials, and request help with custom-built cabinetry or countertop fabrication, product samples take over our office space. Our trained design team is put in place to assist clients, and in 2020 the Design Centre opens as our headquarters.

Suzanne DiMeglio
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & CLIENT MANAGEMENT
Suzanne joined the family business after an extensive career in media and sales. Her warmth, strong communication skills, and natural ability to hone in on client needs, has made her the heart of our customer service team.
After surviving a major renovation on her own home, she came out of the experience with a better understanding of how complicated - and rewarding - the process can be. It sparked her passion for home design, and she adores assisting clients this area when needed. Suzanne thrives in sharing the home construction journey with each client, aiming to exceed their expectations with every outcome.
Jillian Fritz
JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
Jillian is a great asset to the Novero team by bringing her previous experience as a residential interior designer with a design and build firm. She has the flexibility to work on the full spectrum of projects from smaller one-room remodels to high-end custom homes. Her easy-going personality allows her to connect and work with all types of clients. She loves being able to work on the design process from start to finish—witnessing her clients shift from greatly wanting change in their current space, to being thrilled with their new improved space.
Jillian has her Interior Design Certificate as well as her Diploma in Interior Design Technology from BCIT. In addition, she holds a Certificate in Industrial Drafting from Kwantlen Polytechnical University. She started her career as a Colour Consultant at Benjamin Moore, transitioning to a kitchen and bath designer, then becoming a full-home interior designer.
Erica Bourgeois
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Among her many responsibilities, Erica keeps us and our physical space incredibly organized. She has managed to put up with hundreds of product samples taking over our old offices, while always keeping on top of city permits, strata applications, contracts, billing, change orders and more. Erica is integral in moving a project to a contract stage. We appreciate her efficiency and eagle eye for details, as well as her planning abilities and communication skills.
Erica has over 20 years of administrative experience under her belt in real estate development, home inspections, and shipping/receiving. She has very thankfully been with the NOVERO team since 2017
Lindsay Winterbottom
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Lindsay’s creativity and eye for design is a genuine asset not only to the NOVERO team, but also to our clients who benefit from her expertise. She is particularly talented in building trust and understanding, then assisting clients in defining their style and creating cohesion throughout their home.
Her range of experience in design roles – from working as a designer in a prominent residential design-build firm to a high-end furniture retailer – allows Lindsay to provide dynamic solutions for each project and client. Prior to obtaining her Diploma in Interior Design, Lindsay worked in the service and hospitality industry—likely one of the reasons why she excels in customer service and connecting with people.
Marika Komori
DESIGN ASSISTANT Organized, resourceful, and dependable, Marika works closely with the design team in both the conceptual and physical side of projects. She arrived at NOVERO with over 15 years in legal administration focusing on accounting, client relations, and office management. Her experience forms the backbone of her contribution here, and this organizational talent easily melds with her love of design, resulting in vital support for our team. Finding creative outlets in design and art has always been a part of Marika’s life. This began with the influence of both parents who are professionally trained in their own mediums, and has led to a range of interests in fashion, jewelry design and fabrication, interior design, and DIY projects.
